Due to numerous requests from authors, we extended the deadline for one last time.
The MMS2018 Symposium will allow electronic submission of papers only in PDF format.
Papers must be submitted through this link : submission site
All papers must be submitted in the final format to be published in the Symposium proceedings and IEEE Xplore®. They must not exceed 4 pages (A4 size) with all illustrations and references included. The size of the PDF file submitted should not exceed 2MBytes.
Papers submitted for review must clearly state:
The purpose of the work
How and to what extent it advances the state-of-the-art
Specific results and their impact
The degree to which the paper deals with the above issues is fundamental to a successful review and selection of the paper. The most frequent cause of rejections of submitted papers is a lack of new results. Only work that has not been previously published at the time of the Symposium will be considered. Duplicated submissions to concurrent Symposiums must be avoided.
All papers must conform to IEEE Formatting Guidelines.
Use the IEEE conference paper template to meet the formatting requirements. Your paper must comply with the following specifications:
Paper Length: Maximum 4 pages, including figures, tables & references
Paper Size: US Letter (8.5″ x 11″) or A4 (210mm X 297mm)
Fonts: Embed ALL fonts in your PDF file. Avoid the use of Type 3 fonts
File Format: Adobe PDF (.pdf)
Allowed File Size: 2.0Mb
Do NOT page number your paper
Do NOT apply security settings to your PDF file
Note: Deviations from the above paper specifications could impede the review of your paper and result in rejection.
The size of the poster panel that is available to each presenter is A1 (61cm wide x 91cm high).
The format of the poster panel is portrait (width must be less than height). This cannot be modified. You are free to choose a single poster or many smaller posters that fit on the given panel size.
In order to help you meet the above paper specifications, please use the templates which can be found on the Templates page.
If you are having problems creating your file, please link to the author help page.
If your paper is accepted for publication at this Symposium, you will also need to adhere to the following requirements:
IEEE policy requires that you send us a signed Copyright form for each paper. Without this form, we can NOT publish your article.
REMINDER: At least one author per paper must be registered AND attend the Symposium to present their paper.
IEEE reserves the right to exclude any accepted paper from distribution after the Symposium (including, removal from IEEE Xplore) if the accepted paper is not presented at the Symposium.
